BOOKMAN was founded late in 2009 by three industrial engineer students (and one other friend) after deciding that they wanted to take the entrepreneurial route versus the mundane 9 to 5 (Dolly was right!). As dedicated cyclists, the team wanted to design cycling gear that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. And they did just that.  The limited edition of the Bookman light launches, introducing a new Clay and Dark Jade color. The light, inspired by East German industrial design, is available in an array of colors and offers a sleek alternative to other traditional bike lights that may be functional, but not easy on the eyes.

MENTORS NOTE: Safety comes first, but aesthetics are a close second! Like a REALLY close second! The Bookman light offers all of the safety characteristics that one should have without losing its cool factor.  Get a few of these lights and attach them to your bike (see above). They are stackable and simple to attach and remove. Get a few for your car as well. You never know when you’ll need some extra light.
