Pepe Jeans was founded in 1973 in Portobello Market (London) by the Shah brothers.  What started out as a business of customizing original jeans in the local market has evolved into a global, fashion powerhouse spanning over 60 countries and 5 continents.  With their sexy advertising campaigns, great quality clothing and hip, forward style, Pepe Jeans has expanded well beyond its humble roots, putting the latest trends at our reach.

MENTORS NOTE: We can all up our “cool” factor from time to time.  It’s officially time! The slender silhouettes of their clothing will help you acheive a slimming look.  And all of the pieces in their collection are perfect for layering.  Use the images above as reference.  Whether its a vest over a button up, a sweatshirt over a t-shirt or a jacket over a cardigan, layering will add layers (no pun intended) of character to your overall look.  You can add some rugged touches with some distressed boots or a leather belt.  There is a fine line between looking natural and looking like you are trying too hard so be careful.  Too many layers can push you over that line.  Keep it to where you are comfortable, where you can still move your limbs freely and where you aren’t burning up. If any of those last three points are met, you are trying to0 hard.  Start the disrobing process.
